Why Can't I Pay Monthly for Every Item?

One of the most common questions we get at Bat Club USA is: "Why can’t I just pay monthly for any item?" We get it—monthly payments are convenient and allow for more flexibility. But not every piece of equipment fits into a sustainable rental model. Here’s why only select items are available for a monthly rental and how we’ve structured our program to give you the best value.

The Reality of Monthly Payments

If we offered all items on a monthly payment plan, we would need to set prices between $90 and $125 per month with a 12-month commitment to cover the cost of high-end equipment. Over time, members would end up paying two to three times the retail price of the gear, which isn’t something we believe in.

Instead of making all items available on an expensive monthly plan, we’ve focused on keeping costs reasonable while still offering rental options for those who need them.

Our Rental Program: Simple and Affordable

To provide flexibility without overcharging our members, we’ve structured our rental program with flat, predictable pricing:

✅ $35 per month for select rental items
✅ $25 per month for used items

This way, you get access to quality equipment without hidden fees, excessive markups, or long-term financial commitments.

Why Not Every Item Is Available for Monthly Rental

Not all baseball and softball equipment makes sense for a rental model. High-end and newly released products often have limited availability, and allowing rentals on every item would drive up costs for everyone. Additionally, some manufacturers restrict how their products can be offered, preventing us from making certain bats and gear available for monthly payments.

By limiting monthly rentals to select items, we ensure that we can provide an affordable, sustainable option while still allowing members to access top-tier gear through other means.

Other Ways to Get the Gear You Want

We understand that not everyone wants to pay upfront, so we offer several ways to make your purchase more manageable:

🎯 Bundle Discounts – Members can bundle products and receive discounts on switch fees and select items to maximize value.

💰 Loyalty Rewards Program – Earn points with every purchase and convert them into gift cards to help reduce costs.

💳 Financing Options – Use SplitIt, Klarna, or other financing partners to break up payments at checkout without the high cost of traditional rental programs.
